Zz Top Just Got Paid Tab
I have always loved this song, but just recently sat down to try to figure out how to play it. The only problem is that I can't figure out whether it was done in an open tuning or not.The on-line tabs all show it as standard tuning, but if you watch the Reverend play it in live videos it looks like he is either open tuned or possibly in dropped D. I suppose that he could play the slide parts with the guitar in standard tuning except that he also takes his left hand off the neck and plays what sounds like the bottom two strings.Any ideas as to whether the song was originally recorded with two guitars in two different tunings or whether the main riff is easier in one tuning vs the other?Thanks.
